    Google cheap eyeglasses.

Otis likes Zenni.  So do I.

    (There ends the similarity.)

    Floaters are a bitch.

If you do not think about them, you do not see them.

    Mind over matter!

The only reasonably priced optical shop I would even come close to
recommending is Wal-Mart Optical. Most of the other chains are terrible and
sell house-branded lenses of dubious quality.

You should read this before shopping online:
    http://www.allaboutvision.com/buysmart/eyeglasses.htm

Eyeglasses.com and framesdirect.com are two reputable places.

Thanks for the link. Interesting article which mentions about making
decisions on lense material coating(UV, reflective, etc.). I want to
buy the glasses and have my friend’s sis-in-law make the lenses for me
at her optometry shop. She owns one in town. The quote she gave me for
the particular frame i’m interested in is like $65 more than online,
thus that is a big saving.  She is ok with me buying the glasses online
and coming in to her office to have the lenses done as well as free
    prescription.

Oh, i usually go to an optometry retail store and find the frames(model
#) that i like and try it on. Then i’ll go online to shop for that
particular model. A bit sneaky, but i have to do what i can to save
    money…  :)
