A son of a bigwig at Philips Electronics got treatment by a

Still looking for help – MFM

I posted some weeks ago looking for any information on myocorneal
fingerprint mapping, with no response.  My husband has been
diagnosed with this, and has been desparately looking for some
long-term treatment.

Today he had his cornea debreded (sp?).  Not fun.  His
opthamologist is hoping that this will stabilize the tissue, but
isn’t holding out much hope.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

This may be the wrong newsgroup, and if so I apologize and would
appreciate any pointers as to where to look, but I have an urgent
question. I am involved in the design of a computer system for several

looking for research materials that can give me some factual information
as to what font sizes, styles, and colors are appropriate for informtion
on screen, specifically with regard to audience age. This is a Microsoft

Eye politics

Just a simple question. Would people really have ever become aware of the
creation and development of refractive eye surgery in Colombia, South
America. Honestly, though US eye docs actually hop on a plane for
Colombia when it comes to their own eyes, yet how often is this knowledge
shared with patients. Not often. I know an eye surgeon that markets and
performs RK, but sends his family abroad for surgery.
As far as "quick money for my Colombian buddies" One cannot imagine the
level of professional success enjoyed by Dr. Galvis. He has no need for
patients from the US or anywhere else in the world. I get a tremendous
feeling of satisfaction in sharing the patient reactions to their new
vision. Is it not somewhat enlightening to learn about things taking
place in other countries be it not war.

Is the US "The center of the universe"?
